Work of an Actress
An actress is a person who performs a character in movies, television shows, theater, or other types of entertainment. Her main job is to bring a fictional or real character to life by using her voice, facial expressions, body language, and emotions. An actress reads a script to understand her character, learns her lines, and works with directors and other actors to create a believable performance.
Before filming or performing, an actress usually prepares by studying the character and understanding the story. She may research the character’s background, practice different emotions, and rehearse scenes with other actors. During filming, she follows the director’s instructions and may perform the same scene several times until it is recorded correctly. She also needs to be comfortable working with cameras, lighting, costumes, makeup, and different locations.
