Her reputation for competence and trustworthiness led to her appointment as special physician to the Pahlavi court, where she was entrusted with the care of the Shah’s four children: Crown Prince Reza, Princess Farahnaz, Prince Ali-Reza, and Princess Leila. Few physicians held such privileged access, and her relationship with the royal household was marked by deep loyalty and discretion.
Dr. Pirnia married Ahmad Abolghasem Pirnia, the sixth son of Hassan Pirnia (Moshir al-Dowleh), one most celebrated statesmen and intellectuals. The Pirnia family name carried immense prestige in political and cultural circles, as Hassan Pirnia had played a crucial role in drafting the 1906 Constitution and guiding during its early constitutional era. Through this marriage, Dr. Pirnia was connected not only to medicine and public health but also to the distinguished legacy of political reform.
