A Life Composed in Harmony
By his teenage years, Pejman had taken up the violin under the guidance of Heshmat Sanjari and learned harmony and counterpoint with Hossein Nassehi. His teachers quickly noticed his gift for composition he didn’t just play melodies, he expanded them, bending them toward something new. A scholarship to Vienna — the heart of European classical music — marked the true beginning of his journey.
There, he studied with some of the most prominent composers and conductors of the 20th century. In Vienna’s concert halls, he discovered the power of orchestras and symphonies, but he never forgot the sounds of home.
