A Life Composed in Harmony
This moment gave him a glimpse of his destiny: to carry voice into the world stage. When Pejman returned to the late 1960s, he was welcomed as a visionary artist. The country was opening itself to new forms of cultural expression, and Pejman was among those pushing boundaries. He composed operas, ballets, and symphonies, often inspired by history and mythology.
One of his landmark works, Hero of Sahand, dramatized the resistance of Babak Khorramdin, a legendary freedom fighter. Through music, Pejman told stories of resilience and cultural pride, weaving national identity into the universal language of symphony and opera. At the same time, he began writing music for films and television, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after composers in cinema.
