A Legend of Persepolis

Over the decades, he experienced periods of distance from top-level football, partly due to political climates and internal club dynamics. Nonetheless, his name remains deeply embedded in football culture. Many fans and younger players see him as a symbol of loyalty, passion, and the golden era of the sport. Ali Parvin was born and grew up in the working-class neighborhood of Nazi Abad. Like many football legends, his journey began in the streets, where he developed a love for the game and sharpened his natural talent.

From an early age, he stood out for his creativity, vision, and leadership on the field. Scouts quickly noticed his potential, and by the mid-1960s, Parvin was already making waves at local clubs like Aref and Kian, before moving to Paykan and later to Persepolis, the club that would define his career. He played in 341 matches and scored 153 goals, making him one of the most prolific midfielders in football.
