A Legend of Persepolis

Known for his technical skill, playmaking ability, and fierce competitive spirit, he became a symbol of Persepolis during some of its most successful years. Fans gave him the nickname “Soltan” (“The King”), highlighting his dominance and influence on the pitch. His loyalty to Persepolis, even during difficult times, cemented his legendary status among supporters. Parvin’s leadership qualities and consistent performances made him one of the most respected figures in Asian football during the 1970s.

He managed Persepolis multiple times, leading the team to domestic and regional successes. His long association with the club extended beyond just football—he became part of its identity. Guide to a gold medal at the 1990 Asian Games in Beijing, one of his greatest achievements as a coach. However, failure in the 1992 AFC Asian Cup and inability to qualify for the 1994 World Cup led to his departure.
