Pahlavi family

The Pahlavi family ruled from 1925 until the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Their reign spanned one of the most transformative and turbulent periods in history. Under the leadership of Reza Shah Pahlavi and his son Mohammad Reza Shah, underwent rapid modernization, but also experienced political unrest, foreign interference, and a deep divide between tradition and modernity.

However, his authoritarian methods and suppression of dissent drew criticism, and during World War II, Allied powers forced him to abdicate in favor of his son.
