Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller were married

Marilyn’s wedding dress was created by John Moore, while the veil was provided by Amy Greene, who soaked it in coffee to give it a soft beige tint that matched the dress.

They first met in 1951 but reconnected more deeply in 1955, drawn together by a mutual admiration for each other’s work. Monroe was intrigued by Miller’s intellect and sensitivity, while he was captivated by her vulnerability and ambition to be taken seriously as an actress.
