Composer Babak Bayat’s son passes away
Babak Bayat (1946 – November 26, 2006) was one most celebrated and influential composers, known for his profound impact on cinema, theater, and popular music. Over a career spanning more than three decades, Bayat became widely recognized for his emotionally resonant film scores, masterful arrangements, and his role in shaping modern Persian music.
Babak Bayat was born in Tehran and developed a passion for music from a young age. He studied classical music and composition at the Tehran Conservatory of Music. Influenced by both Western classical traditions and Persian musical heritage, Bayat forged a unique voice that resonated with generations.
