Voices That Shape Generations

Omid Poladi Jahan, widely known by his stage name Omid Jahan, was born in 1988 in Abadan. He is the son of Mahmoud Jahan, the renowned singer of southern music whose voice became a symbol of joy, energy, and cultural pride in southern provinces. Omid’s early exposure to the unique rhythms and melodies of southern folk music gave him a deep appreciation for traditional sounds.

Over time, he began experimenting with blending these influences into contemporary pop music, carving out a space for himself as a new-generation artist. His performances often reflect a mixture of heritage and modernity—keeping alive the spirit of southern music while appealing to younger audiences with fresh arrangements and vibrant stage presence.
