Hengameh Borzin, known professionally simply as Hengameh, is a well-known Persian-pop singer. She was born in Lahijan, in northern , and developed an interest in singing and performing from a young age. Her father encouraged her musical interests and supported her in studying Persian classical music. Hengameh began her professional musical journey after leaving and eventually became part of the Persian music scene outside the country.
