From Medicine to the Frontlines of Resistance

Fatemeh Farshchian was born in Tehran in 1956. After completing her early education, she pursued medical studies, demonstrating both academic ambition and a deep interest in helping others.

During her formative years, Fatemeh became acquainted with the People’s Mojahedin Organization (PMOI/Mujahedin-e Khalq). Drawn to their political ideals and vision for change, she gradually became an active member. Fatemeh was part of the editorial board of Faryad Gudneshin magazine, contributing to the movement’s media presence and ideological outreach.
