Four Decades of Media Excellence

In 1989, Amirghassemi co-founded Tapesh TV (PBC), one of the first 24-hour Persian-language satellite channels broadcasting from Los Angeles. At a time when abroad were craving connection to their language and culture, Tapesh TV filled the void. The channel blended entertainment, news, talk shows, and music programming, becoming a household name in diaspora communities across North America, Europe, and beyond.

Amirghassemi’s role was not limited to executive leadership; he appeared on-screen as a charismatic host, bridging cultures and generations. His presence helped Tapesh TV remain relevant for decades, establishing it as a trusted platform for both entertainment and community voice.
