Ebi Littles Music

The 1970s marked the peak of Askarian’s popularity. Under the stage name Abi Littles, he experimented with fusion, blending Persian lyrics with Western jazz, funk, and soul elements. His performances in Tehran’s cabarets and concert halls drew large crowds, and he developed a loyal fanbase among both young urban audiences and older listeners who admired his classical influences.

Askarian shared a long partnership with Manouchehr Vosough, a respected actor in cinema. Their relationship, while private, was recognized in artistic and social circles, and they often supported each other’s careers. Vosough occasionally appeared at Askarian’s concerts and was said to have influenced his interest in blending music with theatrical performance.
