Ebi Littles Music

Although much of his formal education was outside of the arts, Askarian studied music privately under local masters who encouraged him to combine Persian vocal traditions with modern techniques. He began his public career singing in small venues and on local radio broadcasts during the late 1940s. His strong baritone voice, coupled with his ability to interpret both folk ballads and contemporary compositions, quickly gained him recognition.

By the 1960s, Askarian had recorded several singles that circulated on vinyl and radio programs, establishing him as a rising star in popular music. His early songs often focused on themes of love, longing, and nostalgia, aligning with the broader trends of Persian pop at the time.
