A Pioneer of Live Music Scene

Fetneh began performing with the One Thousand and One Nights Orchestra at the newly established Ofogh-e Talayi (Golden Horizon) Restaurant on Lalehzar Street. The venue had originally been known as Karamat Café, was later renamed Ofogh-e Talayi Restaurant, and eventually became an elegant cabaret. She also performed at Jame’e Barbad Theater.

Her artistic collaboration with Yadollah Badr resulted in the recording of numerous songs released on gramophone records. These recordings remain an important part of her musical legacy and reflect the rich orchestral style that characterized much of Iran’s popular music during that era. Her repertoire combined emotional expression with traditional Persian musical influences, making her performances memorable for many listeners.
