The Spirit of Celebration

For many Israelis, celebrations are inseparable from the land itself — the landscapes, seasons, and natural beauty play a central role in the rhythm of life. Known as Israel’s ecological holiday, Tu BiShvat is marked by tree planting and environmental awareness. It’s a celebration of renewal and the bond between people and nature.

Families build temporary huts (sukkahs) and eat under the open sky, commemorating the Israelites’ journey through the desert. The holiday highlights gratitude, simplicity, and a deep-rooted historical identity.
