The annual United Nations meeting in New York

As the General Assembly concludes each year, it sets the agenda not only for the UN but for global cooperation at large. Resolutions passed may not always be binding, but they shape global norms, guide humanitarian aid, and influence policy far beyond UN walls.

With less than five years left to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, the urgency to act is greater than ever. The world watches New York each September not just for speeches, but for signs of real commitment, solidarity, and leadership in a divided world.
