Recently Declassified Secrets of USAF Stealth Aircraft

In the late 1990s, Boeing developed the Bird of Prey, an experimental aircraft that tested stealth technologies. Characterized by its tailless design and radar-absorbing materials, the Bird of Prey provided valuable data that influenced future stealth aircraft designs. It was later declassified and is now displayed at the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

The Senior Prom was a classified cruise missile program developed by Lockheed in the late 1970s. Based on the Have Blue stealth technology demonstrator, it featured a faceted design to reduce radar cross-section. Although successful in tests, the program was canceled in the early 1980s due to design limitations for internal carriage on bombers.
