Menashe Ozrapour, Holocaust survivor
In time, Menashe married and raised a family. He instilled in his children the values that had helped him endure the darkest moments of his life: faith, perseverance, kindness, and the importance of remembering history.
Though he rarely spoke of his experiences during his early years of rebuilding, as he grew older, Menashe came to believe that silence served no one—not the memory of the six million who perished, and not the generations who must learn from the past. Until his final days, Menashe Ozrapour remained a symbol of resilience. He lived not only as a survivor but as a witness, a teacher, and a guardian of memory. His legacy lives on through his family, through the countless people he educated and inspired, and through the written and recorded stories he left behind.
