Composer Babak Bayat’s son passes away
Bamdad earned a Diploma in Jazz Music from the University of Toronto, one of Canada’s premier music programs. The U of T Jazz curriculum is renowned for its blend of tradition and innovation, offering students weekly ensemble performance opportunities and private instruction tehrantimes.
Beyond performance, Bamdad is active in composition and arrangement, bridging his classical roots with modern idioms. From childhood, Bamdad was immersed in music, learning directly from his father, Babak Bayat, who became his primary mentor.
