All you need to know about the controversial new streaming series
On Friday, March 1st (10th of Esfand), after the series “Tasiyan” was banned, its production team released the first three episodes on YouTube. Subsequently, parts of the fourth episode, which was scheduled for an official release on Friday, were also uploaded to YouTube. Now, the producers of the series have announced that they will release the remaining episodes of this banned series on YouTube as well. Earlier, Mizan News Agency, the media outlet of the Judiciary, had reported that the series had been barred from release by a judicial order.
This decision apparently came after the Headquarters for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil announced in late February that it had filed a complaint against “Filimo” (the streaming platform) due to what it described as “inappropriate content” in the series “Tasiyan.” In this regard, Yaser Khalili, the legal director of the headquarters, stated that the series “contains scenes of dancing, kissing, and embracing,” and that Filimo’s managers must appear in court to explain themselves.
