The Mirage F1 is a French-built multirole fighter aircraft developed by Dassault Aviation. Introduced into service in 1991, the Mirage F1 was designed to perform both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions, featuring advanced avionics for its time, a powerful SNECMA Atar 9K50 turbojet engine, and a high-performance radar system.
Unlike the delta-winged Mirage III, the F1 uses a swept-wing configuration, providing improved low-altitude performance and maneuverability. With a current inventory of 23 aircraft, the Mirage F1 remains in limited service, fulfilling roles in air defense, reconnaissance, and pilot training.
