Present inventory 24 planes

The Chengdu J-7 is a Chinese-built, single-engine, supersonic jet fighter derived from the Soviet MiG-21 design. Known for its high speed and simplicity, the J-7 has been widely exported and operated by several air forces around the world.

Although relatively dated compared to modern fighters, it remains in limited service for roles such as air defense, interception, and pilot training. With a current inventory of 24 aircraft, the J-7 continues to contribute to operational readiness, often serving as a cost-effective platform in secondary or support roles.
