Teflin Bandan

At the heart of the mikveh lies one of the most ancient and powerful symbols in human spirituality: water. In Jewish tradition, water represents life, change, cleansing, and divine potential. From the very beginning of the Torah, water is central—”And the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters”. Water holds the potential to destroy, as in the flood of Noah, but also to renew and give life, as in the case of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea toward freedom.
